Terms of Service

1. What the Service does

PixlReady provides browser-based tools for compressing, converting, resizing, cropping, editing and otherwise processing images and PDFs. Processing happens locally on your device; the Service generally does not upload your files to a server. The tools are provided free of charge and without requiring an account.

2. Your content

• You retain all ownership and rights to the images and files you process.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you process, and for how you use the results.
• Because files are processed locally, we do not receive, host or claim any license to your images.
• You may not process content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process unlawful material;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• use automated systems to abuse, scrape or resell the Service in a way that degrades it for others.

4. Our intellectual property

The PixlReady name, logo, website design, text and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. This license does not cover the images you process, which remain yours. Tool output generated from your own files is yours to use.

5. Third-party services and advertising

The Service may include third-party advertising and links, and is delivered through hosting and CDN providers. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Image-processing results depend on your source files and chosen settings; please verify output before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Copyright / DMCA

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes the URL in question, proof of ownership, and your contact details to the email below. We review valid notices promptly and will remove infringing content where appropriate.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law where you reside provides stronger consumer protection. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion.
